Via CIDT, the University of Wolverhampton is the first UK University to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Faculty of Forestry at the National University of Laos. The MOU was signed during a CIDT visit in January 2014, as part of CIDT’s ‘Capacity Strengthening and Empowerment for Improving Forest Governance Project’ (supported through DFID’s Forest Governance Markets and Climate programme.) CIDT has now designed a 2 week regional course to run in January 2015, which is part of a longer curriculum and capacity development project to be carried out with FoF-NUoL and regional partners.
