Associate Professor of International Development
Aurelian is the Project Manager of a €2 million EC grant programme for improving forest peoples’ rights and participation in the VPA Implementation process in the Congo Basin. He has a multi-disciplinary background in agricultural economics, rural development, and business with experience in action research and project evaluations within national and international contexts. He worked for 5 years in Cameroon as coordinator of a regional farmers’ federation focusing on micro finance, capacity building, agricultural value chain development and market access processes. He is a skilled trainer and researcher in business and entrepreneurship. His current area of work, teaching and research is in project management, international development, forest governance, business sustainability, entrepreneurship and curriculum development for forestry institutions in Africa.
