Rural Development in Zimbabwe (CAMFED)

CIDT staff carried out an evidence based assessment of the outcomes achieved through the CAMFED three-year project ‘Transforming lives in Rural Zimbabwe 2011-2014.

Subsequent to the above work which was very well received, CIDT provided a team to evaluate CAMFED’s ‘Community Action for Girls’ Education.

Finally a CIDT team is providing support to UNICEF’s Global Partnership for Education, Baseline Study, designing tools and training to enable increased national capacity to access early learning opportunities and quality primary and secondary education. In addition the capacity of governments and partners is being developed – as duty bearers, to identify and respond to key human rights and gender equality dimensions of school readiness and performance.
