Philip Dearden has conducted an intensive one-week Programme Management professional development course for 30 senior staff from the Ministry of Development of the Regional Development Agency in Turkey. The programme, based on the CIDT ‘Project and Programme Thinking Tools Handbook’, was sponsored by the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) of the UN.
FAO’s overall objective was to enhance the capacity of staff to design programmes using the international logical framework approach and support implementation and monitoring of the programmes. Through these capacity development programmes the Regional Development Agency aims to improve its team’s capacity for successful implementation of multi-country and regional programmes.
