Ethiopia working paperCIDT, funded through CDKN, has supported the production of this working paper:
Becoming a climate-resilient green economy – Planning for climate compatible development in Ethiopia.

This is an important document charting lessons for national planning from Ethiopia’s progress towards its ambitious target of zero net carbon emissions by 2025. The paper documents the vision and support given by the government to bring this target to life and the key drivers and barriers in putting a climate resilient green economy into practice.

CIDT has led a project in Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique and Rwanda between 2013 and 2016 to learn lessons from national planning efforts to put climate change policy in the centre of national development plans. This is one key output achieved through the partnership between CDKN Ethiopia, participating stakeholders, and CIDT.
